King Visits UN Headquarter in Geneva

His Majesty King Abdullah II visited on Thursday the UN Headquarter in Geneva where he met with its director.

During the meeting which was attended by Royal Court chief, the foreign minister and Jordan's ambassador to Switzerland, the two sides discussed the UN role in preserving peace and stability on the world level.

His Majesty highly valued the role of the UN in deepening dialogue among nations and solving world disputes.

King Abdullah touched on the latest developments in the region especially the situation in the Palestinian territories and the Iraqi file.

His Majesty also toured the building which was previously the headquarter of the League of Nations.

Director of the office held a lunch banquet in honor of Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania.
