His Majesty King Abdullah II reiterated Wednesday that what Jordan has achieved over the past decades affirms the soundness of the development process, its true inclinations and serious endeavor to achieve a dignified free life for all citizens in a state of law, security and stability.

In a letter he addressed to Jordan`s workforce on the occasion of Labor Day the King said `we look forward to the future with optimism and hope, and the firm well of our workforce brings confidence that we are on our way to achieve the comprehensive development that suits the aspirations of the country.` He stressed keenness of Jordan to provide the proper work that preserves human dignity, health, security and stability.

`We will fight with you the factors of despair and frustration, and work to provide the proper environment for the working women and integrate them into society in a way that provides all advantages and rights to them,` His Majesty said.

The King, on behalf of Jordan`s workforce, expressed admiration and appreciation to the Palestinian workforce as they continue giving under the most harsh conditions of suffering under occupation.
