His Majesty King Abdullah II Monday received the visiting head of the Permanent European Mediterranean Committee of the French ministry of foreign affairs Senator Louis Le Pensec.

During the meeting attended by Chief of the Royal Court, His Majesty hailed France`s support to the initiatives aiming at helping the government implement economic plans and programs. He pointed out to the support offered by the French government to Jordan through its decision of exchanging the French debt with investment in Jordan.

Le Pensec affirmed that Jordan is an ideal partner to Europe in the political and economic fields. He pointed out to Franc`s understanding to Jordan`s economic and development needs , and to its support to the plans of economic and social reforms carried out by the Jordanian government.
