His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) on Monday, visited the Joint Special Operations Command, where King Abdullah was received by the King’s Advisor for Military Affairs and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben and other army officers.

During the visit, the King discussed with General Zaben a number of issues of concern to the Armed Forces and checked on preparedness of army units.

His Majesty was also briefed on the command’s training plans and its units’ readiness to carry out their duties. The King also visited a military exhibition where the JAF’s arms and equipment are on display.
