His Majesty King Abdullah, on Sunday, received Jesper Brodin, Managing Director at Ikea of Sweden and Range & Supply Manager at the Ikea Group, and discussed with him the group's investments in Jordan.

King Abdullah underlined plans by the global furniture appliances and home accessories group to launch more ventures in Jordan in areas of handicrafts, especially the manual and automatic manufacture of carpets, as part of a scheme to support local communities hosting Syrian refugees.

Brodin said Jordan's economy offers competitive benefits and lucrative investment environment making the Kingdom a magnet of global companies.
