Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania on Monday received Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nejosa Radmanovic, who is on a two-day official visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the two leaders expressed keenness to promote political, economic and cultural relations, and to coordinate their positions to establish peace and stability in the Middle East and in the Balkans.
King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's efforts to sustain peace and boost coexistence among the various ethnic groups and followers of different religions in the Balkans.
His Majesty also emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina's success in achieving a model of coexistence for people who have suffered years of armed conflict gives hope to other countries in the region to live together in peace.
Radmanovic commended the Kingdom's position in backing Bosnia and Herzegovina through its support for international resolutions on peace in the Balkans.
Expressing appreciation of the Kingdom's peace efforts, he highlighted important contributions made by Jordanian peacekeeping contingents in the Balkans in general, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina in particular. He also lauded the King's efforts to revive the Middle East peace process.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to increase joint investments as well as commercial and cultural cooperation.
