King, Polish president attend military exercise

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, and visiting Polish President Andrzej Duda on Sunday attended a military exercise carried out by a Joint Special Operations unit.

The military drill, held at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre and attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, included combat in built-in urban areas with air support by helicopters and fighter jets, as well as landings and shooting from personal and support weapons.

The troops participating in the exercise displayed high skills and precision in executing the various tasks.

His Majesty and the Polish leader expressed their admiration of the distinguished level and morale of the unit's personnel.
