King opens new army’s command premises

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Monday inaugurated the new premises of the command and control unit at the army headquarters.

The new building features several military, administrative and technical facilities, and is considered one of the most advanced military centres, equipped with world-class operational facilities and advanced technologies.

King Abdullah was briefed on the duties that the new army centre is tasked with.

His Majesty also visited one of the joint units of special operations where he attended a training exercise.

At the end of the visit, the King applauded the army’s high level of performance.

Upon his arrival at JAF headquarters, His Majesty was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashaal Al Zaben and His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein.
