His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday discussed bilateral cooperation with UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Discussions also focused on enhancing Arab solidarity in order to address various challenges facing the region.
The current situation in Middle East, especially efforts to achieve a comprehensive peace in accordance with the two-state solution, also figured high on King Abdullah's talks with the UAE vice president.
Talks which continued over a lunch banquet held in honor of the King, was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al Hussein, the King's personal envoy and special advisor His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi Ben Mohammad, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Nasser Lozi, the King's Advisor for Tribal Affairs Shareef Fawaz Zaben Abdullah, the King's Advisor Ayman Al Safadi, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and Jordan's Ambassador to the UAE Jamal Shamayleh.
The meeting was also attended by Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad al Maktoum, ministers and senior UAE officials.
King Abdullah arrived in Dubai from Abu Dhabi where he held talks yesterday with UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Ben Zayed Al Nahyan on bilateral cooperation, enhancing joint Arab action and the latest developments in the Middle East.
