His Majesty King Abdullah met on Monday with Chairman of the Jordanian-Japanese Friendship Society Mikio Sasaki and discussed means to develop cooperation between Jordan and Japan, especially in economic and cultural fields.

During the meeting with Sasaki, who is also a senior adviser for the Mitsubishi Corporation, King Abdullah expressed appreciation of the society's role, underscoring Japan's support for several development projects in Jordan.

He highlighted the country's measures to attract investments for several vital projects in the water, transport, energy sectors, besides infrastructure, underlining the economic feasibility of these ventures.
