King joins worshippers for Ramadan prayers

His Majesty King Abdullah joined worshippers in performing Isha'a and Tarawih prayers at the Fatima Al Zahra' Mosque in Amman.

Arab and Islamic leaders also offered greetings to King Abdullah on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. The King received cables from Tunisian President Zein Al Abdin Bin Ali, the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the Bahraini Crown Prince Sheikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The leaders wished King Abdullah good health and happiness and the Jordanian people further progress and prosperity and expressed their appreciation for his dedication to the Arab and Islamic nation. A number of Arab princes and senior officials also extended their good wishes.

The President of the Jordanian Senate, Lower House Speaker, President of the Judicial Council, Chief Islamic Justice, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Directors of the Public Security, Intelligence and Civil Defense Departments.
