King Holds Dinner Banquet in Honour of Delegates Taking Part in WEF Meeting

Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah held dinner banquet in honour of delegates taking part in the World Economic Forum Extraordinary Annual Meeting currently held at the Dead Sea resort.



King Abdullah an Queen Rania together with the participating delegation later attended a peace concert which started with the national anthem and included a documentary entitled " We Trust Jordan" which shows King Abdullah's initiatives and Jordan's accomplishments under his reign.



Taking part in the concert was an orchestra band from the National Music Conservatory who, led by U.S. maestro David stern, played classical music by renowned world musicians, with the participation of Israeli and Palestinian violin players Ivery Geltis and Nabeel Ashqar respectively Palestinian famous poet Mahmoud Darwish read a poem stressing peace for human community. Brazilian Writer Pawel Jolyuo also presented a poetry reading on peace.



The concert was attended by HRH Crown Prince Hamzah, a number of Royal family Princes and senior officials.
