His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces patronized a farewell ceremony to the Armed Forces battalion Ethiopia/Eritrea III which left Amman on Wednesday to replace battalion II operating there.

At the outset of the ceremony inspected members of the battalion, the Armed Forces Mufti delivered a statement outlining the noble meaning of the Armed Forces` humanitarian participation in the international peace keeping forces in several troubled areas .

Commander of the battalion also made a statement in which he hailed the good reputation and the high degree of objectivity Jordan enjoys worldwide which came as a result of the diligent efforts exerted by its wise leadership since the establishment of the Kingdom .
