Amman, 20 June 2012

His Majesty King Abdullah returned home late Tuesday after a working visit to London during which he met with British Prime Minister David Cameron for talks on the developments in the Middle East as well as bilateral cooperation.
King Abdullah delivered a lecture at the British Royal College of Defence Studies and held meetings with British Foreign Secretary William Hague and members of the British House of Commons’ foreign affairs and defence committees.
The King called for enhancing efforts to bring back momentum to efforts to achieve peace and reach a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause as the core cause of conflict in the region. The King also stressed the importance of speeding up political and humanitarian efforts to solve the Syrian crisis.
