His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces where King Abdullah was received by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mashal Mohammad Zaben and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein.

His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with world leaders participating in the 69th UN General Assembly meetings held in New York.
In His Majesty King Abdullah’s remarks at the Plenary Session of the 69th General Assembly of the United Nations, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II King Abdullah called for a comprehensive approach to address the security situation in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, adding that Jordan supports a united and stable Iraq, with an inclusive, national political process.
