His Majesty King Abdullah II expressed cautious optimism that US and the international community will act together to lay the base that would make Palestinians , Arabs and Israelis go ahead to achieve peace in the region. In an interview with 3rd French TV Channel, His Majesty stressed that the only people that can determine the Palestinians' future are the Palestinians themselves. This should be clear and understood by all, he said.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and President of the European Commission Roman Brudi on Wednesday discussed Jordan-Euro ties of cooperation in the wake of the Euro-Jordanian Association Agreement which came into effect last May.
Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with President of the European Parliament Pat Cox at headquarter of the European Parliament in Strasburg. Talks during the meeting covered scopes of cooperation between Jordan and the European Parliament and ways of promoting them.

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday held intensive talks in Brussels focusing on ways to terminate the deteriorating situation in the Middle East and create the appropriate atmosphere to restart the peace process in the region. The talks also covered means to activate Euro-Jordan Association Agreement.

King Abdullah, who is currently on a visit to Belgium in the course of a European tour, met EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana where the two sides discussed international visions particularly those of Europe and the U.S. to end the cycle of violence and defuse tension in the Palestinian areas through convening an international meeting that brings together all the parties involved in the peace process.
Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah left Amman on Monday on a several-day European tour that will include Belgium, France and the United Kingdom.

His Majesty King Abdullah II returned home Wednesday after a one-day visit to Saudi Arabia where he held talks with Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Saudi Prince Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and the accompanying delegation visited Madinah Munwarah where they performed prayers at Prophet Mohammad Mosque, the second holiest mosque for Muslims. King Abdullah and members of the delegation also visited tombs of Prophet Mohammad's companions at Al Baqe'e and recited verses from the holy Koran.
His Majesty King Abdullah's talks with Deputy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz of Saudi Arabia focused on ways to coordinate the two countries' stand and the Arab stand in general regarding the coming phase and the re-launching of the peace process in conformity with the Arab standpoint.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and Regent of Custodian of the Holy Mosques Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Wednesday started talks, within the framework of consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries to work out a unified Arab stand pertaining the initiatives set forward to end the critical situation in the Palestinian territories and bring the peace process back to right track.
