His Majesty King Abdullah II Thursday
sent a cable of congratulation to King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa
of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the proclamation of Bahrain as a constitutional
Kingdom. King Abdullah expressed deep and sincere congratulations

in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, His Royal
Highness Crown Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein and His Royal Highness
Prince Hashim Bin Al Hussein a number of local and regional issues
before representatives of major US and international press institutions.
His Majesty King Abdullah II held
a number of meetings with political and economic figures taking part
in meetings of the World Economic Forum in New York.
His Majesty King Abdullah II affirmed
his full rejection of expanding the cycle of war to include Arab countries,
adding that this would have dangerous repercussions.
His Majesty King Abdullah said that the Middle East lives in a state of tension as a result of not reaching a solution for the basic cause which is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. In an interview with Cable News Network (CNN) on Friday, His Majesty warned that isolating the Palestinian leadership will push the Palestinians to the edge.
His Majesty King Abdullah`s Friday at the Oval Office held talks with US President George Bush on relentless efforts exerted to revive stalled Middle East peace process and on means to work out the appropriate mechanisms to boost Jordan-US cooperation within US aid to back Jordan`s Socio-Economic Transformation Programme.
