His Majesty King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak on Saturday held talks, within the framework of coordination and consultation between the two leaders, concerning the situation in the region, particularly the Iraqi crisis developments. The two leaders stressed their support to international endeavors to reach a peaceful solution to avoid war in the region.

His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman heading for Riyadh on a brief visit to Saudi Arabia during which he will hold talks with King Fahd of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz.
His Majesty King Abdullah II Tuesday held talks with the visiting Spanish Foreign Minister Anna Palatheo. The talks focussed on bilateral relations between the two countries and the Iraqi crisis backlashes and Arab and international efforts exerted to settle it by peaceful means, in addition to the latest developments on the Palestinian territories.

During his meeting today with Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou, His Majesty urged for intensifying international diplomatic efforts to avert the potential war against Iraq.
